Platinum Series pistons (2618 alloy) offer maximum high-temperature strength and fatigue resistance for trouble-free installation, reliability, and horsepower. Features include perfect ring groove to skirt squareness, offset wrist pin design, moly coated skirts, roundwire locks, tool steel wrist pins, and pressure balance grooves. Standard Series includes Chrome Moly wrist pins; Extreme Duty Series includes 9310 Alloy wrist pins. Compression ratios calculated at 0.00" deck clearance, 9.240" deck height, and .042" compressed head gasket.
