Manley Ford 4.6L Pro Series Modular Crankshaft 3.800in Stroke

Manufactured from premium 4340 steel forging, these cranks feature an increased stroke of 3.800” (to turn a 4.6L into a 5.0L or larger). They undergo a multi-step heat treatment process and are nitrided for added strength. Features include stress relief, shot-peening, 100% magnafluxing, micro-polished large radius journals (requires narrowed rod bearings), lightened rod journals, and fully profiled counterweights. Designed with an 8-bolt pattern flywheel, they can replace 6-bolt pattern crankshafts when used with an OEM or aftermarket 8-bolt flywheel. Not intended for use with highly boosted roots style cog belt superchargers. The stock timing crank gear may require chamfering to clear the larger radius on the snout of the crankshaft.
