Manley's "Platinum Series" pistons are forged from 2618 alloy with proven cam and barrel skirt profiles. They include tool steel wrist pins and, on select part numbers, moly skirt coatings. These lightweight pistons are designed for superior performance and durability, ideal for increasing horsepower or boost, especially when upgrading to a forged set. They feature a compression ratio of 11.0:1 and are made from 2618 high-strength material. The wrist pin location has a 1.2mm offset for quiet startups, mimicking OEM design, and includes a pressure balance groove. Premium 4130 Chrome Moly wrist pins with round wire locks are included, with a 9310 Alloy Wrist Pin upgrade recommended for 800+ HP. The fully banded skirt design ensures increased stability, and the ring stack is 1.2mm x 1.2mm x 3mm with a 3.635" bore and a +3.75cc dome.
