This part, also referred to as a Drive Shaft or Drive Shaft Assembly, plays a critical role in your drivetrain's functionality, ensuring power is transmitted from the transmission to the rear wheels. This drive shaft is specifically designed to fit the 2013-2016 BMW M5 (F10 Sedan) with either the Automatic Dual Clutch or Manual transmission (4.4L V8 S63B44B Gas engine). It also fits the 2014-2019 BMW M6 Gran Coupe (F06) with the 4.4L V8 S63B44B Gas engine. Additionally, it is listed for select 2018 BMW 650i Gran Coupe models with the 4.4L V8 - Gas engine and the 2012 BMW 5 Series F10. Signs of a failing drive shaft can include noticeable vibrations while driving, shuddering upon acceleration, loud clicking or clunking noises, squeaking sounds, and difficulty turning, often accompanied by shaking coming from underneath the car. These symptoms are typically caused by worn U-joints or center bearing issues within the driveshaft assembly.
