The Nissan 320A0-62B1A is a genuine OEM manual transaxle assembly with integrated transfer case, specifically engineered for the Nissan GT-R (R35) model. This complete transmission assembly serves as a direct replacement for earlier part numbers, including 320A0-JF00A, 320A0-KJ10A, 32000-JF00A, and 320A0-KB50A, ensuring proper fitment and function. This GR6-type transmission is a six-speed, twin-clutch gearbox developed exclusively for the GT-R. Its design minimizes power loss compared to conventional automatic transmissions, contributing to improved response and fuel economy. The twin-clutch system features separate clutches for odd (1, 3, 5) and even (2, 4, 6) gears, allowing for rapid shifts as the next gear is pre-selected. It also incorporates synchronized rev control for precise throttle 'blips' during downshifts, ensuring smooth and quick gear changes. This transmission is designed for the 2009-2015 Nissan GT-R models equipped with the VR38DETT 6 Cylinder 3.8L engine. Owners should be aware that Nissan's factory warranty may be voided on new transmissions if the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) is turned off during hard launches, as this can lead to transmission failure.
