Show original supplier description

The USA Standard Gear ZMZF42-K is a synchro ball, key, and spring kit specifically designed for the ZF S5-42 manual transmission. This kit contains the necessary components—three keys, three balls, and three springs—to properly rebuild or repair the synchronizer system, ensuring smooth gear engagement. USA Standard Gear is known for producing a wide array of drivetrain parts, including transmission components, differentials, and axles, with a focus on delivering quality, affordable, and reliable aftermarket replacements that meet or exceed OEM standards. This kit is application-specific, designed for exact fitment within compatible ZF S5-42 transmissions. While the product listing mentions a broad range of Ford vehicles, it is crucial for the buyer to verify exact fitment for their specific year, make, and model. The seller emphasizes that buyers should confirm fitment with their team to reduce the risk of ordering an incompatible product. If fitment is confirmed by the sales team and the part does not fit, the seller will accept returns under specific conditions, provided the item remains in like-new condition, to make things right. Buyers are encouraged to use the fitment search tools provided to ensure compatibility. Always inspect all items for damage before use and verify parts against the packing slip before beginning installation, as the seller is unable to assist with costs accrued from delayed installations due to missing parts.
