The GM Genuine 12592525 is a 3-bar Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor designed for forced induction applications. It measures intake manifold pressure and is used by the Engine Control Module (ECM) to calculate the amount of air entering the engine for fuel injection. This sensor is the original equipment (OE) MAP sensor for GM LSA and LS9 supercharged engines.

The GM Genuine 12592525 is a direct replacement Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor, also known under the Chevrolet Performance part number 55567257 (EMS Code 3). This sensor is an OEM-replacement for LS9 engines and is specifically designed as an upgrade for forced induction applications, offering a 2.7 bar range. Installation of this MAP sensor requires engine tuning to ensure optimal performance and compatibility with your vehicle's engine management system. It is important to note that this sensor WILL NOT WORK with a E40 ECM. This sensor is compatible with various LSA and LS9 supercharged engines, including applications like the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Cadillac CTS-V, and Chevrolet Camaro SS. It is also listed as a replacement for applications such as the Buick Encore and Chevrolet Cruze.
