The Rockford Fosgate RFX5000 is a "headless" marine digital audio/video player black box designed for versatile audio control. This unit includes an AM/FM stereo tuner with 6 AM and 18 FM presets, featuring a switchable USA/Europe tuner for global compatibility. It offers extensive playback options, including USB, SD/SDHC, MP3, WMA, and iPod playback with an on-screen display. For seamless connectivity, it also includes Bluetooth streaming readiness and an Aux audio input. Constructed with a conformal coated circuit board, the RFX5000 is built for water resistance, making it suitable for marine environments. The audio section provides comprehensive control with bass, treble, balance, fader, an equalizer, and mute functions. It also features a subwoofer output and a video input. This black box system requires an optional remote control, such as the RFXMR5BB, for operation, as it is designed to be mounted out of sight. For SiriusXM connectivity, a compatible tuner like the SCC1 or SCVDOC1 is necessary.
