The Sony DSX-M80 is a high-power marine media receiver engineered for superior sound and connectivity in challenging environments. Its robust design includes UV resistance and anti-corrosive properties, making it suitable for marine and off-road applications. The receiver boasts a powerful built-in Class-D amplifier, delivering 45 Watts RMS per channel at 4 Ohms, with a maximum output of 100W per channel. It also supports a 2-ohm speaker load option for enhanced flexibility. Connectivity is a key feature, with dual Bluetooth® enabling simultaneous pairing of two smartphones. This allows for seamless switching between music streaming and communication features. The DSX-M80 also offers a high-voltage 5V RCA pre-amp output, providing a clean signal for connecting external front, rear, and subwoofer amplifiers to build a more comprehensive sound system. Users can customize their audio experience with features like ClearAudio+ and EXTRA BASS, alongside a two-zone illumination system with 35,000 color options to match interior aesthetics. For media playback, it supports USB and Aux inputs, with compatibility for MP3 and WMA file formats. The receiver also features a backup memory to save customized settings even without a continuous power supply. Included components are the radio unit and a wire harness.
