The Kicker 45KM84L 8" LED Marine Coaxial Speakers are engineered to deliver robust sound and lasting performance in demanding marine conditions. Built for longevity, these speakers feature UV treatments on their injection-molded cones, Santoprene® surrounds, baskets, and grilles to maintain optimal performance against sun exposure. The sealed motors and cones, along with locking/sealed terminal covers, provide splash-and-spray resistance, while the 316L stainless-steel mounting hardware ensures rustproof installation. These coaxial speakers boast an 8-inch UV-treated polypropylene woofer paired with a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter, delivering a frequency response from 30 Hz to 21 kHz. They are rated for 150 Watts RMS and 300 Watts Peak power handling, with a 4-Ohm impedance, making them a suitable match for many marine amplifiers. The integrated seven-color LED lighting system adds a visual flair, with options to upgrade to 20 colors and 19 lighting modes using the Kicker KMLC controller. Meeting or exceeding ASTM standards for UV and salt/fog exposure (ASTM B117 200 hr. Salt Fog Test and ASTM G154 400 hr. Accelerated UV Test), these speakers are IP66 certified, ensuring protection against dust and water jets. Installation is facilitated by the included charcoal and white grilles and rustproof stainless-steel mounting hardware. The package includes two 8-inch 4Ω coaxial speakers, mounting screws and clips, wire connection covers, and zip ties.
