The Genuine Acura 37980-RNA-A01 is an authentic Air Flow Meter Assembly, commonly referred to as a Mass Air Flow Sensor. This component is manufactured to Acura's stringent factory standards, undergoing rigorous quality assurance to meet the original specifications. This Mass Air Flow Sensor is designed for a range of Acura vehicles, including the MDX (2007-2013), RDX (2007-2012), TL (2009-2014), and TSX (2010-2014). It also replaces older part numbers 37980-RAD-L11 and 37980-RV0-A01. Installation is straightforward as it is designed as a direct fit, meaning no modifications are typically required. The part measures 4.8 x 4.6 x 2.3 inches and weighs 0.40 pounds. For 2007 Acura MDX models, there is a specific MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor located on top of the air filter housing that may require attention during replacement. Ensure the electrical connector is unplugged before proceeding with the removal of the retaining screw and sensor. When reinstalling, it is recommended to use a new O-ring.
