Description

The CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner is specifically developed to clean and protect mass air flow (MAF) sensors, a critical component of your vehicle's electronic fuel injection system. A dirty MAF sensor can lead to various performance issues, including hard starts, stalling, poor acceleration, lack of power, rough idle, hesitation, check engine lights, and poor fuel economy. This cleaner is plastic safe and dries quickly, making it suitable for electronic components. Its formula is a clear, colorless liquid with a dielectric strength of 22,600 Volts and a very fast evaporation rate. The product uses carbon dioxide as a propellant and adheres to federal VOC regulations, with a federal VOC content of 663 g/L (5.5 lbs/gal), representing 95% of the content. Regular cleaning of the MAF sensor, recommended every time you change your engine air filter or at least once per year, can lead to increased horsepower and torque, enhanced fuel efficiency (MPG), and improved engine performance. CRC states that their Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner has been "thoroughly proven through dyno-testing" to provide optimal results. It is advised to use this product in a well-ventilated area and to follow all package instructions and safety precautions, including wearing safety glasses and gloves.
