Masters FX400 6-Puck Ceramic Sprung Kit

The Clutch Masters FX400 Clutch Kit is engineered for extreme duty on the street, road racing, or drag racing. This system utilizes a Power Plus I Pressure Plate paired with a custom, highly durable 6-puck sprung ceramic disc. The sprung hub design provides moderate dampening in high-torque situations, making it more street-friendly than solid designs. The ceramic disc construction ensures a quick and rapid engagement. However, it's important to note that the ceramic puck design may cause slight chatter in first gear and reverse due to its solid friction rivet design. Ceramic clutch discs are intended to increase holding capacity and durability, not necessarily to extend the life of the clutch, especially in easy street driving conditions where harsh engagement and slipping can reduce lifespan. This ceramic disc is not recommended for stock or near-stock vehicle applications. Included in the kit are the disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing (when applicable), and an alignment tool. This is an upgrade kit and requires a Clutch Masters flywheel, which must be purchased separately.
