Description

The Powerhouse Racing Matte Black Battery Relocation Kit is specifically engineered for Lexus IS300 vehicles manufactured between 2001 and 2005. This kit serves a dual purpose: it moves the battery to the trunk, thereby isolating it from the heat generated by exhaust downpipes, and it creates valuable space in the engine bay for other performance components such as the PHR ABS Relocation Kit and PHR Breather Kit. The battery box itself is constructed from durable .090 wall aluminum and is fully sealed, adhering to requirements set by NHRA and other sanctioning bodies. Its precise fit and latching mechanism, using two draw latches, ensure easy access to the battery. Included in the kit are a marine-grade fuse holder with a 300-amp fuse, billet eyelets, and battery terminals. The battery tie-down is integrated within the box and made of stainless steel for robust performance and a clean installation, typically placed to the right of the trunk area to maintain access to the OEM full-size spare tire.
