The Buschur Racing Maverick Front Mount Intercooler is a performance upgrade designed for the Maverick 2.0 Ecoboost. This intercooler is 240% larger than stock and is rated for up to 550 horsepower. It utilizes CNC machined inlets and outlets to reuse the factory plumbing and bolts into existing holes without requiring any drilling of steel components.

The stock front mount intercooler (FMIC) on the Maverick 2.0 Ecoboost is known to result in significant increases in intake air temperatures, with stock temperatures rising as much as 52 degrees Fahrenheit during a 1st through 4th gear pull. This Buschur Racing Front Mount Intercooler is engineered to be the solution, offering a 240% increase in size over the factory unit and supporting up to 550 horsepower. Featuring CNC-machined inlets and outlets, this intercooler allows for the reuse of factory plumbing. However, some trimming of the plastic shielding around the radiator and condenser will be necessary for installation. Installation requires modification to the vehicle's plastic shielding. It is important to note that fitting any larger intercooler would necessitate serious modifications or the deletion of other factory components, such as the air conditioning system. The intercooler includes mounting hardware, which is only required on Maverick models not equipped with tow hooks.
