The HSP Max Air Flow Bundle is a comprehensive performance upgrade kit specifically designed for 2006-2007 Chevrolet and GMC trucks with the LBZ Duramax engine (VIN Code 2 or D). This bundle targets factory components that restrict airflow and hinder performance, offering a significant improvement out of the box. By bundling these essential upgrades, you can achieve cost savings while enhancing your engine's breathing capabilities. The kit features a 4.5-inch mandrel-bent cold air intake tube and heatshield box designed to deliver cooler, denser air to your engine, with dyno-tested results showing gains of up to 20 horsepower. Lower intake air temperatures (IATs) contribute to better overall power and efficiency. The package also includes a CNC-machined, two-piece Max Flow Bridge to prevent boost leaks and a 3-inch mandrel-bent cold side tube for optimal charge air flow and engine responsiveness. Additionally, a heavy-wall 304 stainless steel passenger side up-pipe with a sleeved bellow design enhances flow and durability over the stock part. Installation considerations include the Max Flow Intake Mouthpiece, which features precision bends and an O-ring seal to prevent leaks. This component supports PCV system rerouting and eliminates the factory resonator; a separate PCV re-route kit (003-1-HSP) is available. The bundle comes with all necessary hardware, including various clamps, boots, gaskets, and mounting components, and offers powder coat options for a customized engine bay appearance.
