The Royal Purple Max-Cycle Synthetic 4-Stroke Oil (SAE 10W-40) is engineered to meet and exceed the rigorous demands of high-stress 4-cycle engines and transmissions. Its formulation utilizes select synthetic base oils combined with Royal Purple's proprietary Synerlec additive technology. This advanced blend provides superior film strength compared to leading synthetic and conventional oils, offering enhanced protection during startup and operation. The oil's exceptional shear stability and resistance to oxidation contribute to greater overall performance and longevity of engine components. This synthetic oil is recommended for both air-cooled and liquid-cooled 4-cycle engines, ensuring broad applicability. It is fully compatible with wet-clutch transmissions, and critically, it meets JASO MA2 standards – the highest rating for wet clutch compatibility under the JASO T903:2011 Clutch Friction Test. This means it provides reliable clutch engagement without slippage. It is compatible with other mineral and synthetic motor oils, and no flushing is required prior to its use. Royal Purple's Max-Cycle oil provides greater wear protection on startup and cooler operation, leading to less parasitic power loss. It meets or exceeds API requirements, offering a high level of quality assurance for your engine's lubrication needs.
