Max Performance Kit

The Rawtek Max Performance Kit is a comprehensive turbo-back exhaust system designed to enhance the performance, reliability, and fuel economy of your 2012-2014 VW Passat TDI. This kit achieves maximum performance by deleting the restrictive Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system, Adblue (DEF) system, and factory catalytic converters, enabling a freer-flowing exhaust. The system is constructed from 304-grade stainless steel for durability. The DPF Delete downpipe features a smooth flare from the turbo outlet to a constant 2-3/4" ID diameter tubing, with a centering sleeve on the inlet to optimize flow and prevent leaks. The kit includes a DPF & EGR Delete Downpipe for VW TDI CR140, a 3" Midpipe for 2.0L CR TDI, a 2.5" Cat-Back Exhaust System for VW Passat TDI (2012-2014), and an EGR Block Off Plate. All necessary hardware for installation is provided. This exhaust package is expected to yield a much more aggressive sound. Rawtek highly recommends one of the resonator options (sold separately or as part of a package) to achieve a deep exhaust note and eliminate highway drone. The Cortek resonators are 100% free flow, ensuring no loss in power or fuel economy. A non-resonated exhaust will be louder and may produce drone at around 2000 RPM on the highway. Additional advantages include longer turbo life due to the absence of the DPF, a cleaner intake manifold and longer engine oil life from the EGR delete, and the resolution of intercooler icing problems. Crucially, this kit requires an ECM tune to function correctly and avoid check engine lights or fault codes. The only sensor installed on the exhaust is the primary O2 sensor located at the top of the DPF; all other exhaust sensors can be disconnected. Installation is a 100% bolt-on process and is estimated to take approximately 5-6 hours, though this can vary based on experience and tools. This kit is designed specifically for North American spec VW Passat 2.0L CR TDI models from 2012-2014 equipped with a DPF.
