The Fabspeed Maxflo Performance Package is a comprehensive exhaust upgrade for the 982 Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman. This system replaces the factory rear muffler with a lightweight, high-flow cat-back exhaust constructed from mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel tubing, offering an 18lb weight reduction. It incorporates a German-made 200-cell HJS HD catalyst, designed for optimal performance and to promote faster turbo spool-up. Beyond the exhaust, this package includes a BMC dry air filter to improve engine breathing and a custom ECU tune to optimize the entire system for maximum performance. The result is an exhilarating sound with the characteristic boxer rumble and a refined Porsche tone, with no droning. Activating sport mode amplifies the sound, and subtle increases in turbo spool and blow-off valve sounds are noticeable. This performance package is guaranteed to provide no check engine light. It is designed for 2016+ Porsche 718 Boxster (2.0L Turbo F4) and 718 Cayman (2.0L Turbo F4) models, as well as 2017-2020 Porsche 718 Boxster GTS/S (2.5L Turbo F4) and 718 Cayman GTS/S (2.5L Turbo F4) models. Installation requires sending the ECU for unlocking and tuning, and a straightforward cut of the factory exhaust pipe is necessary, though it is reversible.
