MAXX Coilover Suspension

The Godspeed MAXX coilovers are engineered for the Volkswagen Touareg (7P) models from 2011 to 2018, offering a balance between track-oriented performance and daily driving comfort. These coilovers provide 40 precise levels of damping adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune their suspension from stiff to soft. The independent adjustment of ride height and spring pre-load offers further customization to suit various driving conditions. The system features a mono-tube design with a durable 52 mm carbon steel shock body and a 44 mm internal piston, utilizing Italian IP F.A. 5W damper oil for consistent performance. The cold-wound springs are constructed from high-tensile SAE9252 steel for longevity. Constructed with lightweight aluminum shock components and T7075 forged aluminum/carbon steel brackets, these coilovers aim to reduce overall vehicle weight while maintaining durability. All parts are replaceable, and the shock absorbers are rebuildable, allowing for customization or simple cartridge replacement without needing to purchase a complete new coilover system. Prior to installation, it is crucial to verify all hardware and ensure springs are properly tightened with a preload set to 5-10mm (1/4-3/8in).
