MAXX Coilover System

The Godspeed Project MAXX coilover system is engineered for the 1999-2005 Mazda Miata (NB), balancing track-oriented performance with daily commute comfort. This system offers 40 precise levels of damping adjustment, allowing for easy tuning by simply twisting a knob to transition between stiff and soft settings. Featuring a mono-tube design, the coilovers utilize a large-capacity 52 mm JIS seamless carbon steel shock body and 44 mm internal pistons. They are filled with Italian IP F.A. 5W damper oil, ensuring endurance competitiveness on the track or spirited driving on public roads. The cold-wound springs are made from high-tensile SAE9252 steel, providing long-term durability. Vehicle ride heights are adjusted using lower brackets, which maximize shock travel to offer a more comfortable ride compared to basic lowering springs alone. The majority of hardware accessories are crafted from billet aluminum, contributing to reduced overall system weight while maintaining robustness. Notably, all parts are replaceable, and the shock absorbers are rebuildable, or replacement cartridges can be purchased, offering a cost-effective solution compared to buying complete new coil-over systems. Installation requires verifying all hardware and properly setting the spring preload to 5-10mm (1/4-3/8 inch). Front camber adjustable plates are included where applicable.
