The M7 Speed MAXX-FLO Air Intake System is an aftermarket air intake designed for Generation 2 MINI vehicles with turbocharged engines. It replaces the stock air box with a fabricated aluminum frame for improved airflow. The system includes a low-restriction foam air filter that enhances engine performance and sound.

The M7 Speed MAXX-FLO Air Intake System is engineered as a direct replacement for the restrictive stock air box in Generation 2 MINI vehicles equipped with N14 & N18 Turbocharged engines, and for the R60 Countryman and R61 Paceman. Constructed from sturdy, heavy-gauge aluminum with TIG welded joints and finished in a durable matte black powder coat, this system features a laser-cut stainless steel M7 medallion. It includes a 12" long x 5" diameter dual-stage, washable foam air filter designed for high flow and low restriction, ensuring it can meet any air demand the engine requires. A 100% silicone connection elbow ensures a perfect fit to the factory MAF housing and is available in black, blue, or red. Unlike other systems, the MAF sensor remains in its stock location without requiring modifications. The air filter attaches to a metal adapter tube, avoiding stress on the delicate MAF sensor housing. For enhanced performance and aesthetics, the M7 R56 Vortex 2 Scoop is recommended as an optional addition (sold separately). To combat under-hood heat, an M7 turbo heat shield (also sold separately) is also recommended for installation. This intake system is 100% Made in the USA and is C.A.R.B. approved (EO #D-766), making it legal for use in all 50 states and ensuring it can pass state vehicle inspections. A technical note specifies that vehicles not equipped with a MAF sensor will require an optional MAF Spacer/Adapter.
