The SuspensionMAXX Extreme Duty sway bar links are engineered as a direct replacement for stock sway bar end links on specific lifted Dodge Ram trucks. Designed for applications with approximately 5 inches of lift, these links utilize a patented MAXXLink design that is 33% larger and 50% stronger than previous versions, ensuring they can handle the extreme loads experienced by lifted vehicles. The higher roll center of lifted trucks places greater dynamic stress on stabilizer links, making robust sway bar links essential to prevent breakage. Constructed with durability and longevity in mind, these extreme duty links feature 4140 alloy steel eyelets with a yellow zinc dichromate finish for corrosion resistance. The shaft sections are made from drawn over mandrel steel tubing, and they use grade 8 bolts. The wear-prone stock ball socket design is replaced with a long-lasting, robust system, and the thermoplastic/urethane bushings offer superior performance and a longer lifespan compared to original equipment rubber designs. Installation is straightforward, with no drilling required, and typically takes between 45 minutes to an hour. The product is 100% American-made and backed by the MAXXLinks Limited Warranty. These links are specifically designed for 2000-2001 Ram 4x4 1500 models and 2000-2002 Ram 4x4 2500/3500 models with approximately 5 inches of lift. The center-to-center measurement is 9.0 inches.
