MAXX Performance Power Pak

The M7 Speed MAXX Performance Power Pak is a comprehensive engine upgrade kit for the Gen 1 MINI Cooper, meticulously assembled by M7 tuning experts to ensure harmonious component integration for maximum power and reliability. The kit provides a choice of 20% or 16% total overdrive options. The 16% option includes an M7 Speed 16% overdrive supercharger pulley and a 4% lightweight overdrive crank pulley, machined to SAE-J1459 specifications. The pulley system features a proprietary taper-loc shaft locking system for superior holding force and ease of installation, along with an active cooling system to reduce belt temperature. The lightweight 4% crank pulley, weighing only 12 ounces, helps reduce rotational mass, boosting horsepower, torque, and throttle response. A high-performance Micro-V drive belt of the correct length is included to ensure proper operation with the chosen pulley combination. Included is the M7 Speed Cold Air Intake System, which features a dual-stage foam filter sealed within an enclosed steel housing to prevent heat transfer. This C.A.R.B. approved system (EO D-766) utilizes a velocity stack for smooth airflow into the intake tract and connects to stock intake piping without requiring modifications to factory parts. The filter is cleanable and re-oilable for long-term use. Additional components in the MAXX Performance Power Pak include M7 Speed 100% Silicone Intercooler Boots, an M7 Speed Exhaust Heat Shield, an M7 Speed Billet Aluminum Oil Catch Can, an Aluminum Water Tank with a 16 PSI Stant Cap, an MSD 36,000 Volt Ignition Coil, NGK 8.5mm Spark Plug Wires, and a set of NGK Iridium Spark Plugs (available in standard, +1 colder, or +2 colder heat ranges).
