The SuspensionMAXX MAXXLinks Custom (SMX-131575) is a heavy-duty sway bar end link system engineered to replace the easily worn OEM ball-socket style links on specific Ram trucks. Designed for the 2014-2026 Ram 2500 and 2014-2026 Ram 3500 4x4, these "new chassis" models require a lift of 4 inches or more, and are compatible with Mega Cab configurations. Constructed from high-strength 4140 alloy steel eyelets with a yellow zinc dichromate finish for corrosion resistance, these links utilize superior thermoplastic/urethane bushings that outperform and outlast original equipment rubber. The eyelets are drawn over mandrel steel tubing and secured with grade 8 bolts for maximum durability. These MAXXLinks offer a maintenance-free solution that resists squeaking and rattling, measuring 7.5 inches from the bottom of the front sway bar to the axle mount centerline. Installation is designed to be straightforward, with a typical time of 45 minutes to an hour, and is supported by SuspensionMAXX's technical assistance. Compatibility Notes: This SMX-131575 specifically fits 2014-2019 Ram 2500 and 2014-2019 Ram 3500 4x4 trucks, including Mega Cab, that have been lifted up to 4 inches. For vehicles lifted 4 inches or more, and from 2014-2026 (Ram 2500/3500 4x4 new chassis), the extended length is suitable. Note that prior to the 2014 model year for the 2500 and 2013.5 for the 3500, a chassis change occurred, requiring different MAXXLinks series for lifted vehicles produced after these dates.
