The SuspensionMAXX MAXXLinks SMX-1229L are heavy-duty sway bar end links designed to replace worn OEM components on specific Ram trucks. These links replace the wear-prone stock ball socket with a robust and long-lasting design, featuring thermoplastic/urethane bushings for enhanced performance and durability compared to original rubber bushings. Constructed with 4140 alloy steel eyelets and drawn over mandrel steel tubing, these links are secured with grade 8 bolts. They are electroplated with yellow zinc dichromate for superior corrosion resistance, ensuring a maintenance-free operation that won't squeak or rattle. Each pair comes complete with stainless steel washers and locking fasteners. These MAXXLinks are specifically designed for 2003-2018 Ram 2WD 1500, 2500, and 3500 models equipped with coil-on-control arm Independent Front Suspension (IFS). The extended length is suitable for trucks leveled or lifted 1-3 inches, featuring a center-to-center measurement of 7.25 inches. Installation is straightforward, typically taking between 45 minutes to an hour, and is supported by SuspensionMAXX customer service and technical support.
