These links feature thermoplastic/urethane bushings for improved performance and longevity compared to original rubber designs. Constructed with 4140 alloy steel eyelets, drawn over mandrel steel tubing, and grade 8 bolts, they offer durability and corrosion resistance.

They address the common issue of stock ball-and-socket designs prone to rust and deterioration by implementing robust thermoplastic/urethane bushings that provide articulation without premature wear. Constructed in the USA, these MAXXLinks feature ultra-high strength 4140 alloy steel eyelets electroplated with yellow zinc dichromate for superior corrosion resistance. The shaft sections are made from durable drawn over mandrel steel tubing, and they utilize grade 8 bolts along with stainless steel washers and locking fasteners. The direct replacement design requires no drilling and typically installs within forty-five minutes to an hour, supported by SuspensionMAXX's technical assistance program. Specifically, the SMX-1311 MAXXLinks are designed for 2011-2013 Ram 4x4 2500/3500 models, including Mega Cab variants, with a stock length and a 5.5-inch center-to-center measurement. It's important to note that chassis changes in later models may require different part numbers; for instance, vehicles produced after the 2014 model year for 2500 and the 2013.5 model year for 3500 may need the SMX-1315 part.
