Description

This ATK High Performance HP36 Chevy 383 Stroker Base Engine produces 435HP and 475TQ. It features an OE roller block with 4 bolt main and a 1pc seal, suitable for 1996-2000 model years. Key components include a Scat Nodular Iron crankshaft, Scat I Beam 5.7” rods with ARP 8740 bolts, forged 10:1 compression pistons, moly rings, and a hydraulic roller camshaft (220/224 @50 .528in/.536ex 110LSA). It also has a double roller timing chain, ATK HP aluminum 72cc/195cc 2.02/1.60 cylinder heads, billet aluminum roller rockers (1.6 ratio), and a Melling STD volume oil pump. The rear sump 5qt oil pan is not suitable for Chevelles with steering behind the crossmember, some Corvettes, and 1962-1967 Chevy II's.
