The Flyin' Miata Mazdaspeed exhaust and midpipe is a performance exhaust system designed exclusively for the Mazdaspeed MX-5. It aims to improve spool-up and support higher boost levels, offering a deeper and throatier sound than the factory exhaust. This system is noted for allowing the car to reach peak power sooner and for its lifetime warranty.

Exclusive to Flyin' Miata, this exhaust and midpipe system is engineered specifically for the Mazdaspeed MX-5 to enhance performance and sound. On their dyno, Flyin' Miata measured a 23 hp and 26 lb-ft increase when this system was installed. The system also allows the car to reach peak power 300 rpm sooner than stock and saves 6.5 lbs. The exhaust features 2.5" piping and a 3" polished tip. A handmade muffler contributes to the improved sound quality. This system is designed for the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed MX-5 (MSM) only and is not compatible with any other models. Installation involves removing bracing and then the exhaust components. The FM midpipe flange and the factory downpipe flange require a different gasket for sealing; the factory donut gasket is recommended for the best seal, though it is noted as not perfect. This imperfect seal is not an issue when using a Flyin' Miata downpipe. The entire system comes with a lifetime warranty. It is legal in all states, including California, and is legal for Solo II in stock class.
