Bellhousing: Aluminum With Titanium Liner: GM: SFI 6.1: With Block Plate. 1955-85 SBC: 1970-90 BBC: 1991-99 BBC: 1997-13 LS-X. McLeod's new Spun Aluminum SFI 6.1 Approved Bellhousing is lightweight (13.5 lbs) and compact. It features an extremely accurate spun aluminum/CNC machined construction with an added steel inner liner for protection. Designed with a narrow body, it accepts popular clutch and flywheel sizes while providing ample tunnel room. An upgraded race version includes a block plate. It also features an interchangeable transmission mounting plate, allowing use with different transmissions by simply changing the plate.

ALUMINUM SFI BELLHOUSING - McLeod's new Spun Aluminum SFI 6.1 Approved Bellhousing proves once again that McLeod is the leader in producing state of the art driveline products. Using a spun aluminum/cnc machining process, McLeod is able to produce an extremely accurate bellhousing that is lightweight and compact in size. The McLeod's Aluminum SFI 6.1 Approved Bellhousing weighs only 13.5 lbs. But don't let that lightweight give the impression that bellhousing is a lightweight. Added protection is provided via a steel inner liner. We built the bellhousing with a narrow body. It accepts popular clutch and flywheel sizes but leaves plenty of tunnel room for tight builds. Our upgraded race version includes a block plate for a small additional cost. Another innovation is the interchangeable transmission mounting plate. This allows for the same bellhousing to be used with different transmissions by a simple changing of the plate.
