Soft Lok - The McLeod Soft Lok assembly is the most widely used McLeod clutch assembly for drag racers, and is not recommended for street use. This unit is an NHRA and IHRA record holder. Low static pressure for light pedal effort and soft clutch engagement. Leave the starting line harder with less tire spin. Enough holding power for the entire run. Adjustable spring pressure and counter weights. Kit includes adjustable long style pressure plate, sintered iron 5135 compound disc and billet aluminum flywheel. SFI Rated and made in the USA!

The McLeod Racing 4969-00-07 Soft Lok Clutch Kit is a high-performance drag racing assembly featuring a 10.5-inch sintered iron clutch disc, a pressure plate, and a lightweight 164-tooth aluminum flywheel. Designed for Ford Small Block 302/351 engines (1964-1995, internal balance) with a 1-1/8" x 26-spline input shaft, this kit provides a light pedal effort and soft clutch engagement, crucial for precise control and minimizing tire spin at launch in competitive drag racing. It is not recommended for street use. The assembly holds NHRA and IHRA records, and offers adjustable spring pressure with optional counterweights.
