STREET EXTREME. The Street Extreme clutch kit is ideal for both the street and the track. We recommend it for cars up to 600 crank hp/tq (depending on part number) with moderate engine mods and street tires. The kit is SFI approved. Included is a high clamp load pressure plate, a dual face ceramic disc for smooth engagement and awesome holding power. Our kits are complete. They come with pilot tool, throw out bearing (where applicable) and pressure plate bolts (where applicable). The McLeod Racing Street Extreme Clutch Kit is designed to enhance both street and track performance for the '98-'02 Pontiac Firebird (LS1 V8 models). It offers a perfect balance of smooth engagement and holding power, with a recommended capacity of up to 700 crank Hp/Tq (depending on the part number) and is ideal for vehicles with moderate engine modifications and street tires. The kit includes a high clamp load pressure plate and a dual-face ceramic disc, ensuring smooth engagement and holding power for high-performance specifications. It is SFI approved and comes complete with all necessary components for installation, including the pressure plate, disc, throw out bearing (where applicable), pilot bushing (where applicable), alignment tool, and a steel flywheel for enhanced performance in street and competition settings.
