MDS Deactivation Kit

This conversion requires the installation of a non-MDS camshaft and proper tuning to disable the MDS feature within the vehicle's PCM. Without adequate tuning, the PCM may continue to cut fuel during commanded MDS operation, negating the purpose of the delete kit. This kit necessitates the replacement of existing MDS lifters and yokes with compatible non-MDS components. The basic kit assumes the engine already has 8 non-MDS lifters, which can be identified by the absence of an oil hole found on MDS lifters. Optional components, such as Hellcat lifters, MMX billet aluminum MDS plugs, or standard plastic MDS plugs, are available for purchase. The kit also provides options for various non-MDS camshafts, specific to 5.7L and 6.4L HEMI engines, with variations for VVT and non-VVT configurations, as well as vehicle types (CAR ONLY, RAM ONLY). Installation kits for 5.7L non-VVT, 5.7L VVT, and 6.4L VVT engines are also available. Crucially, the system requires tuning to properly deactivate the MDS feature. For 2015 and newer vehicles, a PCM unlock is necessary and not included in the base kit. Options for tuners like Diablosport Intune 3 Platinum or HP Tuners MPVI3 are provided, alongside an option to ship the PCM to MMX for deactivation. This kit is not compatible with 2500 trucks.
