MDS Delete Kit

The Texas Speed & Performance MDS Delete Kit provides all necessary components to eliminate the factory MDS system on 2009 and newer Mopar 5.7L HEMI engines, converting the engine to a non-MDS camshaft setup for improved reliability and consistent V8 operation. This kit is a solution for owners seeking to remove the MDS system and refresh the valvetrain components. The kit includes OE style head gaskets, timing cover gasket set, cylinder head bolt kit, valve cover gaskets, non-MDS lifters, water pump gasket, balancer bolt, non-MDS camshaft, exhaust manifold gaskets, VVT cam bolt, and MDS expansion plugs. Tuning is required after installation to disable the MDS function in the engine calibration. Texas Speed offers specific tuners for different vehicle years: TSP-TS-3000 for applications up to 2014, and TSP-TS-3002 for 2015+ Dodge/Ram applications. Note that 2015+ vehicles require an unlocked PCM before tuning, and specific procedures involving a PCM swap or unlock are necessary for 2015+ trucks and 2018+ cars. Important considerations include that this kit is designed for Gen III HEMI applications from 2009-2018 ONLY and will not fit 2003-2008 models. Tuning is mandatory. For 2015+ trucks and 2018+ cars, a PCM swap or unlock is required for tuning.
