MDS Delete Kit

The Texas Speed & Performance MDS Delete Kit provides everything needed to eliminate the factory Multi-Displacement System (MDS) in Mopar 6.4L engines, specifically when upgrading to a non-MDS camshaft. This conversion is aimed at improving engine reliability by removing potential valvetrain failure points and ensuring consistent performance. The kit includes a comprehensive set of components, such as TSP HEMI 6.4L engine cylinder head gaskets, a timing cover gasket set, cylinder head bolt kit, valve cover gaskets with spark plug tube seals, OE-style non-MDS lifters, Mahle water pump and exhaust manifold gaskets, a TSP HEMI balancer bolt, an OEM 6.4L HEMI non-MDS cam with VVT, a HEMI VVT cam bolt, and MDS expansion plugs. Installation of this kit requires tuning to properly disable the MDS system in the engine's calibration. Texas Speed & Performance offers specific Diablosport tuner options based on vehicle year. For applications up to 2014, the TSP-TS-3000 tuner is supported, which is compatible with 2005-2014 Dodge/Chrysler cars with 5.7L or 6.4L HEMI engines and 2005-2014 Ram Trucks with 5.7L or 6.4L HEMI engines. For 2015 and newer Dodge/Ram applications, the TSP-TS-3002 tuner is available, but it necessitates an unlocked PCM. The process for 2015+ vehicles involves a PCM cross-ship program with Diablosport. Special considerations apply to 2018+ applications, which include a bypass module and harness, and 2019+ applications require reading the factory PCM before installing the replacement unit. It is crucial to select the correct tuner option that matches your vehicle's year to ensure proper functionality.
