The ModernMuscleXtreme MDS Lifter Delete Kit is engineered to remove the factory MDS (Multi-Displacement System) feature from 2014-2023 6.4L HEMI equipped Dodge RAM trucks. This comprehensive kit utilizes factory-quality components to ensure reliable performance after the MDS system is deactivated. The kit includes essential parts for the conversion: a non-MDS factory 6.4 RAM camshaft, four solenoid delete plugs, a timing chain, a timing chain guide, a timing chain tensioner, a timing cover gasket, and two head gaskets. Additional hardware provided includes new cylinder head bolts and new factory Grade 10.9 rocker shaft bolts, along with a new factory VVT cam bolt. Installation requires tuning to deactivate the MDS feature within the PCM. Without proper tuning, the PCM may still attempt to cut fuel. For 2015 and newer vehicles, a PCM unlock is necessary, which is not included in the base kit. Options for PCM unlocking and tuning, including HP Tuners and shipping your PCM for deactivation, are available. It is important to check local and state laws for emissions compliance before purchasing and installing this product.
