The Motorsport Electronics ME442 Gen 2 Wire-In ECU is a sophisticated engine management system built to provide comprehensive control over your vehicle's performance. It enhances power, efficiency, and overall driving satisfaction through its user-friendly interface and advanced features. Designed for race applications, this ECU supports 4, 6, and 8-cylinder engines and incorporates Drive-By-Wire and EGT capabilities for enhanced engine protection. At its core, the ME442 Gen 2 features a 600Mhz 32-bit RISC processor, ensuring high-speed calculations for precise tuning. It includes a 90-way automotive connector and an IP67 sealed alloy casing for durability. The system boasts extensive I/O, with 8 injector drivers, 8 ignition outputs, numerous analog and digital inputs, and multiple PWM low sides for VVT, boost, and idle control. It also includes an integrated Wideband Lambda controller and on-board data logging with 4Gb of storage. Motorsport Electronics offers a remote dial-in session with all systems purchased directly from them to assist with initial setup and base mapping. Optional accessories like a Bosch LSU4.9 wideband sensor, FTDI serial to USB adapter, and EGT sensors are available to further enhance its capabilities.
