The UFLEX USA AV Series Electrical Hatch Lifters (AV4512L) are electromechanical products specifically designed for marine use on pleasure boats. They facilitate the full or partial opening and closing of heavy engine hatches, peak tanks, and hatch beams. The AV-L series (locking) ensures the actuator stays locked in the closed position, preventing unintentional opening, which is especially important for high-performance boats or applications where a hatch opening while underway could be dangerous.

The hatch lifters feature a dual-action mechanism, allowing them to lift the hatch to any desired position from closed to full open with the activation of a switch. An internal self-locking mechanism maintains the position and prevents accidental closing. In the event of a power failure, an emergency device allows for manual opening.

These hatch lifters do not require special maintenance, are easy to install, and are constructed from resistant materials. They are supplied with all necessary mounting hardware and feature a stainless steel telescopic ram. A circuit breaker prevents accidental overloading, and electronic stops are present for both closed and full-open positions. They boast an IP 65 protection rating and AV 12VDC models are Ignition Protected, UL1500 - ISO8846 approved.
