This replacement "009" style distributor offers superior quality compared to older Brazilian-made Bosch units. Its mechanical advance system does not rely on vacuum, simplifying installation and operation, particularly with aftermarket carburetor setups. This distributor is engineered with 22 degrees of built-in advance, reaching full advance by 2600 RPM. This specific calibration is ideal for most 16-2300cc Beetle-style engines, providing optimal performance for both stock and high-performance applications.
