Description

The Carter M60253 is a mechanical fuel pump designed for select Ford and Mercury models, including the Mustang and Capri. It features a hose inlet and outlet, a single outlet with a 1/2-20 UNF fitting thread size, and operates within a pressure range of 6.5 to 9 PSI. This pump provides a minimum flow rating of 40 gallons per hour.

This fuel pump includes a gasket or seal for installation but does not come with mounting hardware. It directly replaces worn or failing mechanical fuel pumps, addressing issues like low pressure or inconsistent flow that can cause engine stalling or hesitation.
