Mechanical Fuel Pump

The Weldon 34712 is a high-performance mechanical fuel pump engineered to meet the demanding requirements of all types of racing. Built with the same stringent quality standards as Weldon's electric racing fuel pumps, this unit features a robust billet aluminum housing for durability and a compact 3.5 lb weight. The precision-ground shafts and gear sets ensure reliable operation under extreme conditions. This fuel pump is capable of delivering 12.5 GPM at 80 PSI, supporting up to 3000 horsepower for fuel-injected engines, making it suitable for high-output racing applications. It is compatible with a broad spectrum of fuels, including gasoline, methanol, diesel, ethanol, and all other racing fuels. The pump offers two rotation options: standard rotation, driven off the camshaft, and reverse rotation, driven off a belt drive adapter or the back side of the oil pump. Installation considerations include the use of appropriate filtration: a 100-micron stainless filter assembly pre-pump and a 10-micron stainless filter assembly after the pump are recommended. For fuels other than gasoline, a stainless filter element is advised. The pump features a multi-directional flange with a three-bolt mounting pattern for versatile installation and is designed to work with the Weldon A2047 High Flow Regulator.
