The Trail-Gear Mechanical to Electrical Speedometer Adapter provides a solution for adapting an electrical speedometer to a gear-driven transfer case, commonly encountered when installing a transfer case in vehicles like the Toyota Tacoma. This adapter directly interfaces with your existing mechanical speedometer sensor, converting its output to an electrical signal. It features compatibility with standard Toyota 3-pin speedometer sensor plugs and is engineered to work with all Toyota Mechanical Speed Sensors that have a male M22-1.50 thread. The product is also noted as a direct OEM replacement for speedometer sensors found in numerous import vehicles, and it replaces several specific part numbers, including 8971188100, 8971297040, 8973779200, SU5426, 5S4595, and VSS21. Constructed from metal with a bare grey finish, this adapter is built for durability. It is sold individually. The adapter is specifically designed to fit the 1979-1995 Toyota Pickup and the 1985-1995 Toyota 4Runner. It comes with a 12-month limited warranty.
