It is directly compatible with MS3Pro, MS3X, MSPNP-Pro, and other DIY Style MegaSquirt EMS systems, functioning as a direct wire-in replacement for the discontinued GM EBC Solenoid. This solenoid operates within a frequency range of 19.5-40 Hz and can handle a maximum pressure of 125 psi, making it suitable for high-pressure setups. It is ideally suited for use with both Single Port and Dual Port Wastegates. The kit includes 1/8″ barb fittings and mounting hardware, with ports featuring 1/8″ NPT pipe thread for alternative connection options. For installation, one wire connects to a 12V source and the other to the ECU; the valve wiring is not polarized, allowing either wire to be used for 12V power. It is important to note that the disconnected port must be vented to the atmosphere and not plugged. For optimal performance and longevity, avoid mounting the valve in direct extreme heat, and maintain maximum valve temperatures below 122°F.
