MegaSquirt Gen2 PnP ECU

The DIYAutoTune MegaSquirt Gen2 PnP ECU is a standalone engine management system engineered for the 1990-1993 Mazda MX-5 Miata with a manual transmission. Its fully plug-and-play design requires no wiring for basic functionality, and the average installation time is under one hour. A pre-loaded base map for the Miata helps ensure your engine starts on the first turn of the key. This ECU supports advanced tuning capabilities, including 16x16 fuel tables and 12x12 ignition tables for high-resolution control. It features multiple acceleration enrichment strategies, closed-loop idle speed control, and air conditioner control. The system supports up to 4 sequential fuel injector channels with individual trim tables, and onboard peak and hold drivers are compatible with both high and low impedance injectors. It also allows for the removal of the stock airflow meter and the addition of a variable TPS sensor. Further enhancing its performance and tuning potential, the MegaSquirt Gen2 PnP ECU includes real-time barometric correction and an internal 4-bar MAP sensor capable of reading up to 44 PSI of boost. It also offers overboost protection and closed-loop boost control (requires a boost solenoid kit). Additional features include a knock sensor input with adjustable sensitivity, a headphone output for listening to knock while tuning, table switching input for on-the-fly map changes, and an input for a flex fuel sensor. A CANBus connector enables interconnection with other MegaSquirt-compatible devices for expanded functionality.
