MegaSquirt V3.0 Standalone ECU

The MegaSquirt MicroSquirt ECU, featuring version 3.0 firmware, is a versatile and entry-level fully assembled engine control unit. It comes with an 8-foot universal wiring harness, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including standalone engine management, electronic automatic transmission control, or as a CAN I/O expansion module. This ECU is designed to target power sports and engines from single-cylinder configurations up to 8 cylinders, providing up to 2 fuel and 4 spark outputs. Its capabilities extend to supporting over 40 ignition modes, accommodating mainstream applications like GM LS1, Ford Zetec, Bosch Motronic, and Chrysler Gen III Hemis, as well as more specialized modes. The engine management software supports speed density, alpha-N (TPS-based), or MAF-based fuel and spark tables, offering a 0.66 microsecond injector pulse width resolution. It also includes features like blending multiple load types, support for various OEM cam and crank position sensors, accelerator pump enrichment, closed/open loop idle and boost control, and a 2-step rev limiter with no-lift shifting. For transmission control, the MicroSquirt firmware enables management of several electronic automatic transmissions, functioning either standalone or integrated via CAN bus with other ECUs. As a CAN I/O expansion module, it provides 7 analog inputs, multiple wheel speed and ground-switch inputs, and various PWM/switch outputs, useful for capturing and logging data like vehicle speed. This product is universally applicable and includes the assembled MicroSquirt ECU and an 8-foot wiring harness. It is backed by a Manufacturer Standard Warranty.
