The AlkyControl Meth Injection Kit is engineered for the 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO, featuring a boost-referenced, progressive methanol controller. This advanced system automatically adjusts methanol release based on increasing boost pressure, ensuring a smooth and consistent fuel delivery that maintains power throughout the RPM range. Constructed with premium components, the kit includes braided stainless steel lines, a high-volume methanol-specific pump, sealed electrical connectors, and brass fittings. Methanol injection offers significant benefits for forced-induction engines. It functions as a highly effective chemical intercooler, capable of reducing intake air temperatures (IATs) by over 80%. This temperature drop enables tuners to advance ignition timing, leading to substantial horsepower gains. Furthermore, methanol's high octane rating (equivalent to 110 octane fuel) suppresses detonation, allowing for more aggressive tuning. It also contributes to engine longevity by keeping internal components cleaner and removing carbon deposits. Key features of this kit include the -PAC Progressive controller, a modified pump specifically for methanol, pre-assembled stainless braided hoses, and a complete wiring harness.
