This ECU fits inside the factory OEM enclosure with no alteration of the factory wiring loom required. It is designed for the MX5 B6ZE(RS) / BP 1.8L engine and is suitable for manual transmissions only.

The Link Engine Management MiataLink (212-4000) is an advanced PlugIn ECU engineered to enhance the performance of specific Mazda MX5 models. It integrates seamlessly into the factory OEM enclosure, simplifying installation as no modifications to the original wiring loom are necessary. This ECU is built for the B6ZE(RS) / BP 1.8L engine found in the MX5. Key features include up to 6D fuel and ignition mapping, precision closed-loop cam control, sequential fuel delivery, and digital triggering for all OEM patterns. It also supports OEM idle hardware and includes an onboard 4-bar or 7-bar MAP sensor. While it offers many advanced features like motorsport capabilities (antilag, launch, flat shift), continuous barometric correction, and QuickTune automated fuel tuning, it does not feature knock control. This MiataLink ECU is specifically designed for the 1600cc and 1800cc NA MX5 models from 1989-1997, as well as the 1800cc 323 GTX and GTR. It is crucial to verify that your vehicle's connector matches the header in the product photos before purchase. This unit is only compatible with manual transmissions and specifically fits the 2-plug ECU configuration, not later 3-plug models. It explicitly does not fit NB, NC, or ND Mazda models.
