Description

The Dobinsons Torsion Bar Pair (TB59-1636) is engineered to significantly improve front-end suspension performance and achieve a desired ride height, particularly when the vehicle is equipped with added weight from accessories such as bullbars or winches. The durable black powdercoat finish ensures long-lasting resistance to corrosion. Dobinsons torsion bars are directionally preset and scragged during manufacturing to prevent sagging and premature fatigue, ensuring consistent performance over time. Key features include an increased spring rate for better handling and lift, cold-rolled splines for superior strength and fit, and a corrosion-resistant powdercoat finish. They are designed as a direct replacement for OE torsion bars, requiring no modifications for installation. For optimal results, torsion bars must be installed with 2/3 suspension down travel and 1/3 up travel to ensure a comfortable ride.
