Description

The Gates Micro-V serpentine drive belt (K060997) is engineered as a direct OE replacement, ensuring optimal vehicle performance by matching original size, construction, and materials. Constructed with durable EPDM rubber, it resists cracking on the rib surface for extended service life. Key specifications include a K cross-section designation, 6 ribs, and a top width of 0.807 inches (20 mm). The belt measures 100.35 inches in outside circumference and 99.68 inches in effective length. The polyester cord material provides strength and durability. Gates recommends replacing the tensioner if equipped when installing this belt to ensure proper function. This Micro-V belt is compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including various Ford Super Duty Vans and E-series models from the mid-80s through 2019, as well as certain Jaguar models and Chevrolet S-10/GMC Sonoma trucks from the late 80s to early 90s. It is also noted for use in Ford F-650 and F-750 trucks and motorhome chassis.
