The Mighty Mouse Solutions MMS-5 Mild Draft Catch Can is designed to integrate directly into the factory PCV system of 1997-2004 C5 Corvettes and 2005-2013 C6 Corvettes. This system works by capturing oil that is typically consumed through the PCV system, thereby reducing oil blow-by and providing a degree of crankcase pressure relief. It is a key component found in many 'MILD' Complete kits offered by Mighty Mouse Solutions. This catch can connects between the valley plate and the intake manifold. It is constructed with a billet aluminum head and includes a specific mounting kit, required push lock hoses, and -6AN fittings. The product is proudly made in the USA. Buyers can select from various mount options, including Billet Black LS Head, Battery Mount, Billet Black Universal Mount, and Brake Booster Mount, as well as connector types like -AN Male Flare or OEM Quick Connect, with slight price variations depending on the configuration. Fitment notes indicate that early C5 models may require a 'pcv orifice' to ensure proper installation. Additionally, the battery bracket mount is not compatible with C5 models that retain the original battery box. For those planning to use the vehicle for road track racing, a fitting top conversion is recommended. Important Restrictions: This product is not legal for purchase or use on pollution-controlled vehicles and is explicitly against the law to install on an emissions-controlled vehicle.
